Accompanied by a solemn chant, which slowly turns into the feedback sound of a distorted guitar in loop, the miniature boats of the Mini-Europe park in Brussels appear one after the other, seamlessly. The models fade into each other intersecting reflections of great European landscapes, leaving the way to an eerie underwater world. The presence

of insects and fish seems to be the only guarantee of an existing life beyond mechanisation; until voices are heard,

as personifications of the self-perpetuating system itself.
